Ending a streak of mindless self indulgence

Yes, it's true...I've been posting way to much of myself. I'm not the biggest fan of blogs like that and so I don't want to have a blog like that. To remedy the last several posts of mirror picture-taking (which by the way I found in a dumpster) here's some goodies from my trip up to Park City for some Sundance fun with my mom and one from Salt Lake. Enjoy!

I love his scarf and the ripped-pants-with-thermals-underneath-look. This band is from Salt Lake and their name is Bramble. They're super good. Check them out for yourself here: Bramble

The bike piano guy. Don't ask me how he managed to bike from SLC to P.City!

The Civil Wars. Pure bliss for your ears with the outfits to match for your eyes. They have a free single of the week on Itunes right now! :)

The ultimate Park City style. So perfect right?? Ha I love it!

I wish I would've taken a proper picture because her coat and boots were amazing.
Cute girls, fun style. I love that way of wearing scarfs.

Kelsie in primary colors-I can dig it.

Darling girl at Decades in Salt Lake.

Fundance

Sundance is on! I went up to a couple parties this last weekend and had SO much fun. I've only had the chance to see one film so far. I saw 'Little Birds' last night with my friend Hana. It was amazing; truly amazing! The fashion in the film inspired  me as can be seen in my outfit today (the first photos). Enjoy!...

Weekend

Tip of the Day: If you find an awesome ring and really want it but it's to big for you, don't worry you can make it fit! I don't mean paying $25+ to get it sized (a price I wasn't willing to pay to size a turquoise ring my parents gave me [see pictures]), but simply putting another ring that does fit that finger in front of it to keep it in place. It totally works and can be noticeable or not. Seriously, what an easy fix!

Friday...Saturday...Sunday...

A sweet way to tie scarfs!

Yellow lace top, J. Crew cashmere sweater, wool coat, scarf and riding boots-Deseret Industries; Levi jeans

Lower Dens

...is who I'm listening to and they're awesome. Seriously, go listen to them right now! Good news-I found my camera! For those two days before I lost my camera here's a couple outfits.

Cream shirt, flowered belt, riding pants and boots- Deseret Industries; Dooney & Burke vintage doctor's bag and ring- garage sales

This barrette I wore with the outfit above. They're made by this adorable six year old girl named Fern at Misc. Boutique in Salt Lake City for only $2 and she gets all the proceeds. So of course, I bought three.

Haha, check my kitten in the background.

Long sleeved shirt and vest, coat, navy boots- Deseret Industries; Jeans-Levis; vintage Coach purse- garage sale

P.s. Navy boots with jeans are the BEST for when you can't decide what (color) shoes to wear. They blend right into your jeans, but still look awesome.
